No the legislature passed it by going around LDWF. The feed stores and the big money hunting clubs in the state senator and state representative who head up the CWD task force got in their ears

The LDWF, along with a bunch of other game agencies, have done a poor job of outlining their plan to battle CWD. Killing all of the deer was never going to work.

They have neither battled or managed many things well

Such as roads in WMAs

I’d vote for green jeans, as unpopular as they are around here, if my objective were to have huntable populations of game 3 generations down the road. I guess I care more about future hunting opportunities than feed stores’ balance sheets. Call me crazy.
