I have always been a cheap arse when it comes to camo, but I really like a lot of the features, pockets, etc that the technical brands have on their stuff. Is there anybody who makes technical hunting gear in mossy oak patterns?

I have a set of First Lite I bought a few years ago with a coupon. I don’t wear it often. It’s fine but way overpriced. I have a set of Sitka stuff for duck hunting and it was worth every penny thanks to one of those coupons going around here. The set of bib waders I bought is so awesome. But I’ve been really impressed with Kuiu. When my Under Armour stuff wears out I’ll probably replace it with that. Apparently UA doesn’t make hunting clothes anymore.

I’d love if Sitka came in Original Mossy Oak Bottomland. I have some of their gear and it’s great . The only negative for me is their camo patterns honestly. But that’s just my .02

If you want features and mossy oak camo patterns, I think Drake is about your only option. Some pieces can be hit or miss.

I recently returned a Kuiu guide jacket, because it wasn’t much nicer than the Drake windproof jacket I bought for a fraction of the cost. Fit was marginally better but not worth the money IMO.

Browning also offers some of their clothing in Bottomland as well.

I almost bought some nomad stuff on sale , they have bottomland.
I wear a mixture of kuiu and first lite and hodgepodge of other stuff but I don’t really get hung up on camo or the patterns matching.
A lot of people like to make fun of sitka/FL/kuiu but when it’s 20-30 degrees and your covering 3-8 miles the warmth/weight/compressabilty and features such as hip and pit zips, 3/4 zip shirts and zip of pants will be priceless. While everyone else is freezing while looking like a Michelin man.
If you don’t have to match and shop sales any of the three brands can be bought 25-45% off.

Smartest thing the Haas family ever did was bring back the original mossy oak patterns. Hoping they bring back the original breakup in the near future.

Filson has some bottomland gear but not sure if it’s the same level as Sitka, kuiu etc.

I love my Filson jacket in bottomland though. Great quality

Got the Peak Midweight jacket and pants in yesterday and pretty impressed at first looks. Time will tell about the durability but the fit is great, tons of pockets, and the fabric seems to be pretty warm. For how much cheaper it is than the other brands it seems like a great deal. They are currently running a 50% off sale.

To answer your question: no, no one does.

I’ve ordered some Gamekeeper stuff direct from MO that are some of the poorest quality clothes I’ve seen. For the life of me I can’t understand why they haven’t licensed to a garment mfg with more of a quality reputation. Nomad is probably the closest, but nothing close to Kuiu et al.

I'll be wearing a plain green Carhartt hoodie and Wranglers underneath a pair of Roundhouse denim overalls tomorrow morning.
