found widely across North America east of the Rocky Mountains and are highly adaptable to their environment.
No shite. They are everywhere and seem to be thriving....I may be wrong but it seems like they are far more common than they once were. I enjoy them...they are pretty damned entertaining. They are a double barreled pain in the arse though.
I saw one DESTROY a brand new Cadillac in a Sherwin Williams parking lot in Galveston in 1984. Some one dropped a 5 gallon bucket of white paint in the parking lot and that Grackle had a BALL wallowing in it, for some reason, and hopping up on that caddy to see what kind of artist he was....I am certain that paint washed off that car but the woman who owned it was convinced it was ruined. You have thought it was a flock of the damned things as much paint as he managed to spread on that car but it was only one....other grackles were watching and commenting on the one doing the painting but as far as I saw no others joined in....just the one, having himself a BLAST, for some inexpicable reason.

That's a damn funny, and unsurprising, story

Franchise a Jack in the Box and build it across the street.
The Grackles will migrate there as it's their natural habitat.

That's a European starling, not a grackle.
