Ol' boy is facing 12 counts.... yikes.

Five counts of possession of assault style weapons.
Six counts of untraceable weapons.
One count of improper storage.

It all stemmed from the cops executing a protection order. He was asked to surrender his carry permit and refused.

This case will probably go to the Supreme Court and finally get a ruling on assault weapon bans.

apparenlty, according to the video, Mass. gives you a pretty large timeframe to get them serialized. however, they'd have to prove the start date and that the window was exceeded.

Mass is insane. To even have a gun in your home you have to go through a lengthy process and local law enforcement is required to sign off. My understanding is you have to show good cause for the firearm and Boston was rejecting a large portion of applications after sitting on them for 6 months.

"Because I want one" should be sufficient cause.

I have always found it ironic that the states leading the fight against British tyranny in 1776 are now the same states leading the fight to establish American tyranny today.
