The handguard looks semi-Chinese Airsoft designed, but the guts of the rifle (especially the FN barrel) are better than SOLGW, which charges $700+ more.

This will basically be the best sub-$1K higher end option on the market.

I was thinking $949, but you prolly right.

Their JAKL got me intrigued. I’d buy one if it were 300blk

Looks nice.

They need to drop another AK/dagger bundle so I can buy it.

Missed the last one in December

Built something similar recently with a PA 3x prism for under $1,000: LINK

I’ll still probably buy one of these anyway because PSA is doing more for the 2A than anybody right now.

i kinda feel like we're going to be let down on the attachments that they will come with.

their slogan for these was "they only need an optic" during Shot Show last month. which probably means the flashlight/foregrip they're showing probably won't be included.

eta:

i also wonder when the B-Tier or better snobs come in here with their "better quality" ARs.

I really don't care about someone's opinion. I have owned a PSA AR for 5 years and love it. I got it super cheap on black Friday.

Same. I have cheap AR parts and I have expensive AR parts, really not that big of a difference if they fit and fire.

I have a PSA lower on one of my rifles and a PSA BCG on another, and they perform flawlessly. I have parts that cost three times that much, and aren't an improvement.

I’ll have to give PSA their due. They put some quality stuff into an affordable package.

For 95% of shooters PSA stuff will be fine. The other 5% that shoot 10’s of thousands of rounds out of their guns the top tier stuff matters.

There is a reason a KAC SR15 costs 4K. It will shoot 50K rounds without any failures.

I'll never do that, outside of a civil war..

As long as I have a fairly accurate barrel and a 3 - 4.5 lb pull trigger, I'm good with mid grade stuff.

I have a slightly different approach to the 308, but its finicky.

Yeah, I’m surprised to see Stag Arms in the F-Tier. Their rifles are pretty expensive.

Pulled the image from here.
