Depends on what you value. If you value accuracy then stainless. If you value barrel life then chf/chrome lined.
Anyone outside of a military would/should probably value accuracy over barrel life because most will never shoot out a barrel.

He might be right / he might be wrong. I can't tell because that guy has spent his career manufacturing controversy for reasons I can't fathom. He definitely knows guns and has innovated in the past but I am never sure what he is going to pull next. He definitely enjoys being controversial.

9 hole review just did a video about how accurate CHF Geissele barrels are on rifles/uppers they bought off the shelf (no special send). Those guys are kind of the gold standard of YT real world accuracy reviews.
Criterion also claims you can get sub-MOA on their chromed Barrels because of their special chroming process. (not CHF, but still)
Centurion CHF/CL barrels also are incredibly accurate and will last forever. Their owner is a former Naval Special Warfare sniper.
Yes, stainless is going to be more accurate most of the time, but you will start to lose accuracy somehere around 2-3K rounds.
A good CHF/CL barrel will last 15-20K rounds pretty easily before you see a loss in accuracy.
But none of that matters if you shoot >200 rounds a year like most AR owners.
