Replacing Yeti Cooler Gasket

Both of my coolers are 12+ years old and they aren’t holding ice like they should. I’ve put water in them, closed it, and turned it over and water is leaking out.
I don’t see that they make replacements for the lid gaskets. I see some generic ones on Amazon but don’t see one for the 65 qt.
What have you guys done, other than buying a new cooler, to fix?

Call them and see if they would replace it for free first would be my first step. Might get lucky there.

That’s what I was talking about in addition to the qt size ones. I don’t know how well they fit/work. If any of y’all have done this and it worked that’s what I’ll order.

It’s pretty simple. Pull the old one out and cut to that size. Get some 3m grip tape and put on the seam at the back of the cooler. That’s what they started doing to release the vacuum.

Contact the Yeti support center. They sell replacement gaskets for $84.99 plus shipping.

I have one of the original Tundra coolers and it doesn’t hold ice worth a flip anymore. When you put a bright light inside you can see that the insulation has crumbled and fallen to the bottom of the walls of the cooler.

E-mail pics/video to Yeti. Bet you they will replace it.
