Anyone have any experience lately with them, particularly ordering firearms online delivered to their store?
Their website and statuses seem to not be very accurate lately, I guess due to increased volume. I placed an order earlier last week with an item that was In Stock - called and confirm with customer service as well. The status online today says Pending Shipment but Customer Service says it shipped on 1/6 to the store.
A quick google search shows people having similar issues lately. Status showing Pending Shipment and Customer Service saying item shipped but days/weeks later the firearm still isn't available for pickup, status showing pending shipment, etc.. People have called their local store with mix results - item was there ready for pickup but they weren't notified, item shows shipped but never arrived weeks later so they just got a refund, etc.

Buddy of mine ordered an AR from them in November. Came in about 5-6 days after the estimated date. Have you tried calling the store? He mentioned the store was pretty helpful.

I ordered an AR several months ago. The rifle came in about 2 weeks after the estimated date. I assumed the delay was due to the hurricane that blew through during that time. I had no issues with the purchase.

I've ordered guns through them without issue, but this was a year or so ago.

Customer service has been very helpful.
Last week the item said In Stock and when I went to finalize the purchase it said I had to remove the item from my cart because they had insufficient inventory. That was probably around noon. Around 3pm that day the same item was finally showing Out of Stock. I spoke to CS and they said the site has had trouble keeping up with actual inventory #s. She said inventory updates on the website around 11:30pm. I went online around that time and the item was showing back in stock. Was able to complete my purchase without issue.

Went by the one in Slidell this morning. They have 5 boxes left of 30-40 Krag, better hurry before they're gone...

Last Jan I had them deliver to my local FFL in GA and had no issues. That was before SHTF.
And for the lurking gestapo, it was lost in the river because I got drunk and dropped it while hunting deer out of season from the water.

Never had an issue with them, but they were recently bought by Cabelas/Bass Pro..

They are out of stock in store for the most part but are allowing you to purchase and have things shipped to the store for pickup. Things are crazy right now. If you want a refund I am sure they will happily find another buyer but you should expect some delays.

Ordered some 6.5 Grendel in the summer and it came in ok. Ordered 7.62x39 last week and it arrived Sunday.
Friend of mine order some 5.56 in May and it took forever but it was on backorder when he ordered it.
No problems for me.

I ordered a M&P Shield and got it shipped to the one in Slidell. I never got a notification that it arrived. I called the store with no help. The next day, I called the 1-800 customer service number. They put me on hold and got in contact with Slidell. Turns out the gun was in for days.
They do save ammo for you if you buy a gun from them.

How long ago if you don’t mind me asking? I ordered the P365 today. Saying it will be in next week.

That was early August. So the gun craziness was still going on. It really depends on who you get on the phone over in Slidell. One person just didn't even bother looking, the other went and looked but didn't find it.
But from what I remember, it was technically in by the estimated pick up time when I ordered it.
If you call customer service, they can track it for you or at least tell you if it has shipped.

How long did it take to do your paperwork and background check? Could you walk out same day with it?
Driving in from BR once I get mine and hoping there isn't a holdup. Hasnt been anywhere else in the past.

I've bought guns in person at the store in Slidell. You do your 4473 electronically on a tablet right at the gun counter. Pretty quick transaction

Got my order is ready for pickup email. The main status online still says Pending Shipment but if I click the order # it shows Ready for Pickup in the details.
