I also have a Kubota ZD326. 2009 model with 550 hours cutting 3 acres.
Only maintenance I have done to this machine is change oil, blades and one battery. I also try and only cut dry grass and blow it clean after each use.
Diesel engine and hydraulic lift deck are best features. Not as quick and responsive as the other gas options being mentioned, but I will stick with a diesel for the torque and dependability.

I have a 42” cut Touro Timecutter with the 22hp kohler. Bought middle of last summer. Been a great mower. It was between the timecutter or the bad boy. Went with the time cutter because of the business taht service and sells them.

I have a 44inch exmark that I purchased in 2000. Still runs and cuts great

I also just bought a 72 inch ex mark and can cut 5 acres in an hour.

I have the bad boy avenger 60", I have 20 acres about 6 of it to mow and it's a rough patch. In a valley coming off a mountain with big arse rocks, hills, weeds, etc. bad boy has done well with it over the last 3 years.

Just routine maintenance on the mower and on going back pain for me.

Hope I don’t jinx myself, but 5 years in with an Exmark Radius 60”. I cut about 3 acres. Only thing I’ve done is new blades every couple of years and replaced front tires this year. Been rock solid so far.

I have a 72" finishing mower but am just too lazy to change out attachments every time I need my tractor.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. If State Farm is buying I'm probably going to stick with a Dixie Chopper. I do like the big Gravely units too though.

My grandpa bought a Hustler with a Kawasaki on it then died a few years later. I have kept cutting her grass with it for about 13 years now. Never had an issue other than regular maintenance. Have probably been a rather negligent owner if we’re being honest. I bought one as a result for my yard.

I don’t know why I would consider anything else.

Most of the commercial grass cutters around here use Kubota, Scag and Exmark. I bought a commercial grade Scag 6 years ago. Bulletproof but heavy. Have the Kawasaki engine.

I have a scag and an exmark. No comparison. The scag is a beast. Next one will be a Ferris.

I've had my hustler raptor for 3 seasons and have had no problems. Kawasaki Engine is stout and it's easy to change oil and maintain.

I cut 1.5 acres once a week and also use it as a yard tractor to haul a small dump trailer and my son around

Happy Easter

I used to run a power sports store and we sold the Spartan brand. Commercial build quality, great engine choices. I've sold 3 to good friends that all run them at their camps. The 40 hp unit does 18 mph while cutting, son of a gun even has wheelie tires on the back. That unit is a tank, has the Vanguard motor. They come with either Kawasaki, Briggs or Vanguard motors. All of the suggestions are great advice and all offer unique features and benefits. We sold a bunch of the Spartans, unfortunately we just never caught up with the market and we let the brand go. Hard to sell mowers in a power sports store.

I have a Bad Boy ZT Elite and am pleased with it. Great cut and at the time of purchase its was probably the best value/durability purchase I could make.

There's a lot of good options honestly.

I have no complaints with my current Toro and it will probably last me a long time, but I really really miss my Grasshopper, it was by far the best lawnmower I've ever owned. Just built better than any mower on the market imo. No plastic parts or plastic on the body.
