There is no hypothetical

Trump pumped trillions into the economy after 3 years of ZIRP, following 8+ years of ZIRP preceding his admin.

Those are facts.

That printing led to massive inflation.

This is a fact.

You just make shite up and expect everyone to argue on your shite take.

What did I make up?

Did we not engage in ZIRP for 10+ years?

Were trillions of USD printed to inject into our economy during Trump's admin?

Did these trillions have any impact on inflation after the printing?

We haven't skipped meals to save money. However, the wife and I haven't eaten in a restaurant since Covid and Biden. The prices at a decent sit down restaurant are ridiculous.

There was no inflation under Trump. Stop projecting and deal with it.

We are talking about the inflation that hit after Trump, caused by the post-Covid printing. Keep up and stop posting straw man arguments.

The genesis for inflation occurred under Trump.

Y'all can pretend all you want, but Donny is very culpable here.

You obviously know what causes inflation, so why don’t you council your lord and savior Obama, so he can have ole Joe cut inflation back. Does your theory only work one way?

Silver lining - America is way too fat anyway. We took our baby girl to the Baton Rouge Zoo yesterday and the amount of grossly obese people there, including the children and teenagers , is outta control. Me and my wife are very fit people so we stuck out like a sore thumb

I'm not here to defend Biden, but his admin is raising rates, which is a major reason why the economy is slowing down so much. But it's controlling inflation. I mean the economic contraction is what you want/expect to control inflation.

If Trump were President, his admin would be doing the exact same thing.

What do you think Trump would be doing differently to stop the inflation caused by 10 years of ZIRP and trillions printed in 2020?

Was looking at my old HS class pic the other day, there were no fatties, by todays standards.

Even the fat kids looked average compared to modern man.

There's not a movement to replace the dollar as the world's reserve currency?

Russia, China, India, the oil producing countries in the Middle East and South America. The US, Canada and most of Europe have been captured by the WEF globalist movement. The rest of the world is laughing as they watch us commit suicide.

quote:

They can't do shite.

Our borders are wide open and our infrastructure is woefully unprotected. They can do plenty, especially since we've done our best to push them into the arms of China and Iran.

quote:

Not happening.

Without a viable alternative contender, the dollar has been on a steady decline as % of global reserve currency since the 70s. Now 45% of the world has banned together to break the dollar's hegemony and we appear to be ready to help them. It's early, give it time.

No. The only "competition" is the Euro. Compare usage rates of USD and the Euro. What other currency is even competing with the Euro?

quote:

Russia, China, India, the oil producing countries in the Middle East and South America.

India: already banning diesel vehicles

China: China joins list of nations banning the sale of old-style fossil-fuelled vehicles (by 2035, too)

Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia to Start Electric-Vehicle Push in Capital Riyadh

Brazil: LINK

You may want to educate yourself before you spout off stuff you read in the echo chamber.

quote:

Our borders are wide open and our infrastructure is woefully unprotected.

This has nothing to do with Russia being able to project power on the US.

quote:

Because the world has developed. We are still dominant, and I mean DOMINANT. The one true contender, the Euro, failed completely.

BRICS would have to (1) create economic integration; (2) create a currency for that integration; (3) out-perform the EU's economy from the 00s until now by like 20x
