But, I'm reminded of a situation where a grieving parent was screaming at him and someone on his team said something to him about it..............Bush took every bit of the abuse and later told his team member that she had every right to scream at him. Because honestly...........sometimes, you need just a WEE BIT of self awareness to recognize that it isn't about your own damned feelings.
Whatever his other flaws, Bush knew when interacting with regular folks who were hurting that being yelled at for that shite comes with being the goddamned President. You can't act all annoyed by it even if you think they're irrational.

Truth
Being President is the ultimate "buck stops" position.
Heck, they have Platoon Leaders in the Army who get confronted by parents sometimes who show more empathy than this dickhead. It just comes with being in charge of someone who ends up dead. There are ALWAYS questions and emotional parents WILL ask them.

I really think this is truth. We saw it with some angry outburst in recent years.
Honestly, it reminds me of my dad when he got to the point where he was losing his faculties. When he was at that point where maybe 30% was gone.......he was perpetually angry. Because, it's just degrading as a man when you know what's happening but can't stop it. He actually got "better" the worse he got because mercifully, at some point, he wasn't aware of how bad he was.
Biden was always a bully. Now, he's a bully who can't remember his favorite flavor of pudding.........
