A federal appeals court on Thursday reinstated a Nov. 3 due date for mail ballots in Wisconsin in a ruling that a dissenting judge argued would disenfranchise thousands of voters.

The 2-1 ruling by a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit halted a district judge’s order that relaxed a number of restrictions in order to ease voting amid the coronavirus pandemic.

This is huge and we haven’t really talked about the riots in Tosa last night. It was another left wing Kristelnacht. Trump should not give up on Wisconsin.

In dissent, Judge Ilana Rovner called the ruling a “travesty” that will cause "many thousands of Wisconsin citizens [to] lose their right to vote." “Good luck and G-d bless, Wisconsin,” Rovner, a George H.W. Bush appointee, wrote. “You are going to need it.”

Great news. SCOTUS won't have five votes to overturn this. Roberts can cuck out with a 4-4 tie and this decision still stands.

This is why I thought it would have been a TERRIBLE decision to nominate Barbara Lagoa for the USSC. Her first judicial appointment in Fla was by Jeb. Her FIL is a Clinton district court appointee. She was easily confirmed by the Senate to the 11th Circuit. You know damn good and well the Dems will fight tooth and nail against any nominee they truly hate (see Barrett's nomination to the 7th Circuit).

Complete wolf in sheep's clothes. The GOP exploded in the 80's with the success of Reagan. Over the next 30 years the only two GOP members to hold the office of POTUS were Bush's...which directly led to the popularity and election of Trump. Those two destroyed the momentum Reagan created.

Crazy, isn't it? That's how it is in the official ruling. A PDF of it has been posted on Twitter and it is the last sentence on the last page:

Oh, he is absolutely not despite dropping ad buys in Wiskey. That is only temporary.

That could possibly be the difference in the election.

A couple more states yanked back into Constitutional reality, and it could be an easy win.

How hard is it to mail the ballot in a few days earlier, most people have their minds made up by now.

It won't disenfranchise any voters. You have to get your ballots in on time. So send them early.

So are voters that skip voting day because of the lines disenfranchised when they come back the next day after the election is over? NO. They know the rules, abide by them.

Governors can't change election law. It is a legislative process.
