Are we in a bit of a lose-lose with these mid-terms

Just thinking, let's say the Republicans sweep the mid-terms, both houses of congress, governor races, state houses, etc.
We all know a pretty bad recession is coming. In fact, we are basically in one now and the media won't report on it. Biden and the Dems have already got out ahead of it signaled how they will shift the blame to Republicans when the crash comes.
So in a way, it is to the Dems advantage to lose. They spent the last 2 years inflicting all this damage, now they can sit back and enjoy the after effects and place blame on others. Which would get them back in power in 2 years.
Now. If the Republicans had balls and knew how to communicate clear messages, I think they could overcome it. But even if they are able to correct the economy by slowing down spending, guess who then will get all the praise? Captain sniffs alot will be the savior!
They can't lose either way, because they have the media as their personal PR firm.

the media will blame the republicans anyways, so i'd rather have the GOP control congress. as always, the enemy is the media.

We have to stop doing things because we worry what the other side or the MSN will think. They will hate and treat us unfairly no matter what we do.

I posted earlier that the key to this 'technically we're not in a recession' was all about postponing the official declaration of a recession until after the GOP takeover.

This will not happen. Republicans are going to be disappointed in every national election going forward. It cracks me up how people trust the polls.

i tend to agree with you. i have a hard time trusting any poll or any national election at this point. i think it's all completely corrupt and broken.

The majority of people don't watch the MSM anyway. If they did, Biden would be running positive numbers.
The proof are in the results of during Trump in office versus Biden's first year. Anyone with two brain cells knows Joe reversed everything energy related on Day 1 and tanked the US economy.
Gaining control simply means Joe must rule exclusively by EO. Nothing is going through.
The only issue is for Republicans to effectively vocalize where Joe's policy are killing the US through all means they have available. But most have figured it out.
You either enrich America through America first policies OR you make America suffer while you enrich the rest of the entire world with Globalist policies directed at moving WEF into the Central Government for the entire globe.

Never going to happen as long as people like Mitch McConnell are still in power. There would need to be not only a red wave, but a purging of the old guard Republicans. The current leadership in the Republican party simply refuse to wield the power given to them like the Democrats do when they get in power.
