The old guard simply doesn't want "new money" in their club. They look down on her no differently than the Astors did the industrialists.
There is an absolute gorge between how the legacy media outlets see themselves and how the voting public sees them. I watch some of the clips shared here from CNN. They don't behave professionally and they don't make compelling arguments.
I recall watching George Will spar with Cokie Roberts and Sam Donaldson. These were intelligent, serious people with contrasting views on politics and policy. I generally felt like I was learning something from the conversation.
What happens on CNN is a damn clown show that is less intellectually stimulating that the clowning some of us do on the tRant.

She is hot for sure, but her linguistics and reasoning abilities are crazy. She talks so fast with an impressive vocabulary and a succinct logic it is hard to keep up sometimes. Very, very smart.

I don't mean this in a bad way at all, but if her voice were a little higher pitched, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between her and Tomi Lahren if you weren't watching. The phrasing, the cadence, the verbiage, it's almost like they're the same person.
