Gives me the same energy as the Pazuzu statue from the opening scene of The Exorcist

Having been in and around that building off and on for decades, it has always had strange art.

So how long before one of the alphabet of weirdos tries to have its way with the silver schlong?

And when people put crap like this up, they wonder why conspiracy theories start. No one in their right mind just begins enjoying art of this nature. They cultivate a perverted interest or desire over time. This isn't like ancient art, these are modern deviants and they know what they are doing.

OK George Bush, time to blow those levees again.

They need to have some sort of ceremony to chop off that thing’s tally-whacker to fully complete the Democrat circle.

Is this at the Ogden? They always have weird statues and I don't know anything about Nola

It could work to society's advantage.
By becoming the most popular statue for the upcoming Decadence festivals.
Instead of them performing their exhibitionistic debauches openly in public in the Quarter, it could become the yearly meeting place for them to rally around the flagpole in an area not quite as populated.
Won't ever make the list of monuments scheduled for take down because of being considered morally and aesthetically objectionable by the same crowd who forced themselves to imagine demons not to their liking in the other statues.

It'd be a shame if it got defaced or torn down in a rage of protests.

People do in fact, have the right to tear it down if it offends them.
They should.
They should.
