FAA’s diversity push includes focus on hiring people with ‘severe intellectual’ and ‘psychiatric’ disabilities
The Federal Aviation Administration is actively recruiting workers who suffer "severe intellectual" disabilities, psychiatric problems and other mental and physical conditions under a diversity and inclusion hiring initiative spelled out on the agency’s website.
"Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring," the FAA’s website states. "They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism."

Have you seen some of the crazy shite happening in airports the last 5 years? Gotta fight fire with fire
They've been setting air travel to implode for years now. Making the seats smaller, charging for luggage and drinks, delays, overbooking, TSA etc.

Are they hiring these individuals as pilots? If so, what's their goal? To hire people who will crash planes so that the survivors or families of the deceased will sue the FAA into oblivion?

Jesus that is a long way from certain meds that would ground you for weeks sometimes. Last time I worked Air Traffic was almost 10 years ago,but they didn't frick around especially when it came to psychological. This is going to get people killed.
