Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) mocked the students protesting on college campuses after a report was released stating a Houthi-run university in Yemen will offer slots to those suspended at U.S. universities.
“If a homicidal, Iranian-funded, terrorism proxy wants to pick up your college education tab, you really, really might want to reevaluate things,” Fetterman posted on social platform X.

Parroting a Party talking point is bullshite politics. Politicians used to speak out against their party often when it didn't align with their beliefs.
The GOP lives them some Israel. A lot of supposed GOP members, and many on this board, are staunch anti-Zionism. So if you break with your party on that issue are you a hypocrite?
That's issue #1 why I have no party affiliation and never will again. No one should be hamstrung on an issue because the party's platform differs. Some GOPers are pro-life, some are pro-choice. Some Dems are pro-Palestine and some are pro-Israel.
The world is complex and everyone has an opinion. frick asking your party how you should feel or think.

So do they get together and practice their parts or receive their scripts? How do they decide who does what? Or is it mostly improv with a wink and a nod to one another? You can’t tell me there aren’t squabbles between individuals who want to play the same part. For this to work properly the Democrats would need to be somewhere on the level of 100% smarter than I personally give them credit for.

Not sure if he really believes these things or not, but it is refreshing. He good be seeing the Manchin spot vacated leaves room for a more centrist type. I have to admit though he seems pretty genuine on some of these issues.

I am making no claim on the intelligence of the leaders of either party. It is undeniable that many of the most powerful politicians in Washington D.C. are dumber than a box of rusty door-knockers.
Indeed, that an ignoramus and wholly corrupt harlot such as Maxine Waters once assumed the leadership of the House Financial Services Committee simply underscores the depth of the crisis. Part of the problem is solely focusing on team jersey colors.
Yet don’t get too caught up on the clowns in the passing parade and look at the inexorable direction of the procession. My primary refrain on this forum is that the permanent leadership of both parties are wholly owned subsidiaries of the Deep State.
The UniParty® exists to perpetuate the Deep State above all other considerations. And the Deep State exists to promote our nation’s debt financed monetary system above all other considerations.
Nothing changes until this nation returns to sound monetary policies. As it stands, we can expect things to get much, much worse before they get better.
