No Presidential administration is responsible for my financial success, failures, or choices. This forum complains weekly about the price of fast food and stuff at grocery stores like Doritos, soft drinks, and Oreos etc.

Nobody is making you eat that shite. Nobody is making you not live within your means. Stop complaining and do something about it.

As the cost has increased, a lot of products are less quantity per unit so it really is inflation compounded with shrinkage.

I don’t think anyone is denying that and it’s mostly processed garbage like Doritos, Oreos, candy bars etc. that people should be staying away from anyway. How addicted are you folks to keep paying almost $6 for a bag of fricking Doritos? That’s insanity.

You can get cheap quality beef, eggs (getting harder to find) bacon, butter, half & half, cheese, chicken, pork, etc at WalMart or Aldi etc. when compared to Kroger, Publix, Whole Foods, etc.

You have no idea what you are talking about. There are people trained (meat science degrees) that figure out how to get the most water wait they can into meat/poultry/chicken etc. during the processing of meat. It means huge money to all of them. Water weight on a plant that produces millions of pounds per day is big money. Plus the meat is actually better with added amount of water though it costs the consumer.
