How does AOC have a degree in economics from Boston University?

Most politicians I think are actually fairly intelligent, but sometimes come off dumb because they are playing political games.
AOC, however, I feel is actually a very stupid person. And I’m not just saying that because I disagree with her. I think she is just not smart.
How can she be so economically illiterate yet hold a degree in economics. How?
Even people I totally disagree with on economics like Paul Krugman can at least formulate an actual economic argument, even if you disagree.
But with AOC, she doesn’t even make any sense. It sounds like someone who doesn’t have any clue what they are taking about just winging it and making shite up. I mean wtf?

In my opinion, she has been found wanting in the arena of economic policy. There is a difference between AOC and say Paul Ryan who also finished in economics. The country is getting robbed of an honest economic debate because she isn’t a serious academic. It’s rather disappointing to watch her spout economic propaganda or inaccuraces and have the left wing brain trust (VOX, New Yorker, NYT, Salom) try to salvage her credibility. I don’t think she is dumb. I think AOC is intellectually lazy because she backs policies with zero economic reason.

If she does there is not doubt it is a Bachelors of Arts. She can’t do maths for shite. No way she got a bachelors of science
Think abt all the lawyers trying to run the Business of govt. They took very little in classes that are numerically driven. History, English, polo sci. No wonder we have budgets looking like they do. Bunch of Moe Ron’s trying to run a complex business. Wtf were we thinking putting dumbs up there?

Good lord I agree with Toddy. There are dumbs everywhere. Both sides. The bad part no one sees is those clowns up in dc aren’t doing thier jobs. Look at the circus. They want division. We should all be tar and feathering the majority of congress for stealing our money. At the very least, hate potus for who he is but everyone should love his policy
