What is the overlap in state sexual offender registries and the FBI/DOJ data compilation?

This inside prison link has his race as black

No idea. And I picked him at random because he was near the top of the link. There are countless examples on the website. I actually stopped scrolling after a while because there were so many of them I just didn't have time to read every example

NIBRS (National Incident Based Reporting System) is the FBI national standard of police reporting.Local agencies primarily buy a software package that does the reporting from private companies. The standard was first developed in 1984 to replace UCR summary as a more accurate way of reporting. Each state has a repository. The state collects the data and puts it through a clearing house so to speak and then sends it on to the FBI.
The FBI has begun data modeling crime stats which I don’t agree. They believe if the can get X amount of agencies reporting then they can data model the rest.

It’s humans entering the data and there are always going to be errors. Programmatically you can validate many things but race isn’t one of those.

So you have DMV level employees determining the race of a criminal.

And progressives want the government to run health care.

Ugh.

Having the same errors consistently tends to mean that the inputs need to be adjusted.

I mean the defaults chosen, specifically. Either don’t have a default or change what it is.

There is a code for each race and ethnicity is either Hispanic or non Hispanic. The user selects from a list. It’s not hard. Some people are lazy and some are just dumb.

They are white-blacks, just like Zimmerman was a white-hispanic.
