Is Yoga demonic? (Update)

Is this the source of the crazed Karen movement in Suburbia these days? Are they summoning demons during their Yoga sessions?
Yoga and the whole mindfulness thing have always given off weird new age pagan vibes.
However I will say in regards to Yoga pants, I fully support them!

Update. People should at least know the origins of yoga and the poses. You are worshipping pagan deities during yoga, knowingly or unknowingly during yoga
This is an excorcist story of woman unknowingly inviting a demon into her through yoga. It discusses the spiritual nature of the yoga poses, even if they are being done unintentionally, and goes into alot of theology. Might be better to have your wife do pilates or barre class instead.

Some mediation and yoga is intended to achieve higher levels of consciousness and something with chakras and kundelini. Supposedly you can astral project or be exposed to other states of reality. Is same with some hallucinagens.
I do some stretching but fortunately head is too busy to meditate. Also Bible says not to contact spirits.

Anytime my sister gave my brother crap about him letting his kids read Harry Potter, he liked to tell her to go read up on the roots behind yoga and adult coloring books.

The whole idea of yoga meditation is not the Western idea of contemplating "something" ... but to clear the mind completely.
If you think about it, this is what the praying of the Rosary helps to do. Repetition thinking about the stations of the cross for example, helps to clear the mind. When you clear the mind, you are at peace. As peace is your natural state without all the other horrible things in the world interfering with it.
Same with Hinduism and other forms of mystical Christianity and even Islam (in the form of Sufism .. not their stupid, insane and murderous forms of fundamentalism, like Sunni and Shia -- these are actually political entities and not spiritual if you really look into them). Yoga has nothing to do with contacting "spirits" as if that could even be done anyways.
Yoga, if done correctly (and we're not talking about posing and wearing yoga pants), helps with spirituality and daily life. But as a fashion is as vapid as anything else that is done as a fad.

Meditative yoga is anti-Christian at its roots. Perhaps not demonic per se but definitely not Kosher with the Catholic Church.
