In one of those states up there, a couple of dads teamed up to do a silent protest by wearing pink bracelets with XX on them, and wore them to their daughters game. Can't remember what it was, but it was on school grounds. They were asked/told to leave because of it.

Great, so Maine doesn't want Federal funding for the next 3.5 years, at a minimum... So nice of them to strike out on their own and save the taxpayer money...

Heck, just give them the funds and tell the women & female athletes of Maine to deal with it. That's the only way to truly get rid of this nonsense. It will have to occur "internally".

Until this crap surfaced, I'd have bet that Maine was close to conservative values as you could get and still have democrat electoral advantage.
