Map of Chinese-owned farmland in U.S. Why is so much of it next to military bases?

The red in central Washington would be next to Hanford Nuclear Reservation..
The map isn't exactly high res, but it would appear it's a good chunk of the Yakima Valley. Very fertile land.

Its pretty crazy in a lot of countries, foreigners aren't allowed to own property, yet we go the complete opposite and allow it, even within a few miles of our military bases

In fairness, of you put every military installment/base on that map, it would look very much different and not so suspicious. Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri and Iowa have swaths of continuous farmland almost beyond imagination, and the CCP barely has a presence there.
Still, frick the CCP and there's no way in hell that Communist foreign nationals and governments should be able to own ANY US soil. None.
Know what I do notice about your map though? A LOT of that Chinese-owned farmland is very suspiciously close to major populations with high percentages of Democrats. That's a bit odd....

I'm more concerned about the shear amount of farmland they own, regardless of its proximity to any US property.
What's the total number of acres CCP has? It looks like if you added it all up, it's a greater land area than quite a number of US states.
Around 20 years ago when gold was making a big run, I remember Warren Buffet saying "I'd rather own all the farmland in American than all the gold in the world".

That map is way off. It looks like the Chinese own all the farmland in Dallas and Tarrant counties? Where this isn’t any?

With as many military bases as we have in this country, it’d be more surprising if they have farmland not attached to military bases

I’ve been wondering about this Chinese farmland thing. It’s suspect, no doubt. But why would the DC Marxists be ok with China having land next to bases? China isn’t part of the One world globalist plan because they want to rule the world on their own. Giving them this access can make them stronger.

One of the earliest ones I saw listed land in TX owned by Chinese that had a runway on it.
