massive fire has engulfed Feather Crest Farms, located east of Kurten, Texas, in Brazos County, causing widespread alarm and prompting a massive response from multiple fire departments.

The fire, which was reported just after 5 p.m. near Fickey Road east of Kurten, has become a major concern for local authorities and residents.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., Bryan Texas Utilities announced that, in order to ensure the safety of firefighters responding to the fire, system operators would be temporarily disconnecting service for approximately 140 customers

Lots of food facilities burning down over the last 2-3 years. Kind of odd.

If they were smart they’d toss some apple wood in there, maybe some hickory, mesquite never hurt anyone. Hell they’re in Texas, surely some mesquite is nearby.

Retard. Same as the ones who thought the Feds burned chicken farms a year ago.

The way the aggregators frick over the farmers/growers, it wouldn't shock me if a lot of these fires are the farmers'/growers' way of exiting the business.

Their only capital outlay is the houses. The aggregators provide the birds, feed, etc. The farmer/grower provides the labor and then is paid by the pound.

So if they can burn the houses and get insurance, then never rebuild, they're basically breaking even and exiting the arrangement.

So we're back on this conspiracy theory?

Will next week be train derailments?

Any stats to back this up, or just your feelings?

Looks like we have ourselves a conspiracy theory that the burst of food factory fires over the past couple few years have been illusions, false flags.

I'm asking for data to support this oft-assumed, casual claim. What's the denominator? The onus is on you idiots to provide support, but I'll do you a solid and go first:

quote:

Although no data is kept on fires that occur strictly at food processing facilities, the National Fire Incident Reporting System tracks fires within broader categories like manufacturing, refrigerated storage, and agricultural facilities. In 2019, the number of fires at all manufacturing or processing plants in the country topped 5,300—nearly 15 a day. Additionally, more than 2,000 fires occurred in agricultural, grain and livestock, and refrigerated storage facilities, which could all include food processing operations.

National Fire Prevention Association - year end 2019

quote:

Based on AWI’s analysis, 98 percent of the animals killed in barn fires in 2019 were birds, mainly chickens raised for meat and egg-laying hens. Since 2017, more than 250,000 meat chickens and 1.8 million hens have been killed in barn fires. Birds die in such large numbers as a result of factory-farming practices that confine tens to hundreds of thousands of animals under one roof.

In 2019, the five barn fires with the highest number of farm animal deaths (as reported by the media) all involved birds:

30 April: 250,000 hens at Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch in Iona County, MI; cause unknown.
2 April: 37,000 hens at A & L Farms in Upper Bern, PA; cause reported as faulty ventilation fan component.
7 June: 25,000 meat chickens at a Wayne Farms contract farm in Goshen, AL; cause reported as arson.
5 April: 22,000 meat chickens at a Tyson Foods contract farm in Tecumseh, NE; cause reported as arson.
4 June: 22,000 hens at a farm in Winston County, MS; cause unknown.

The Poultry Site

Run a custom date range Google search for just 2019 and see how many incidents show up.

Where's the data for the other years?

ETA
After a short search, and I don't think it was exhaustive for all of 2023, it seems I found fires killing 200k in DE, 100k in CT, 100k in KY, which is more than what you posted for 2019.

Do you have any annual tallies? If we had actual tallies by year it would solve all of this pretty quickly.

You took it from easily identifiable facetiousness and non-serious jesting on my part (considering context and my choice of terminology)……straight to drop the hammer, red line anger and offense on your part. Then ironically say I’m the dumb one. Let this be a learning experience, I might even suggest approaching each and every post to which you intend on replying as a possible joke, then if you rule it out, by all means proceed with an angst filled diatribe. I wouldn’t offer that advice if I didn’t utilize that process myself, and I do. It’s an easy way to save face.
