I see this spouted a good bit.

Why so much shenanigans, though, if this is so?

Because it only takes a few retards to start a rukus, and then the masses fall in line with the rukus.

I'm not sure what other choice he has in most of these situations (FISA deciding vote excluded). The MTG contingent has made it impossible for the Republicans to function as a majority given the slim margin.

But, if they represent such a small fringe as suggested, it should not take much to cast them aside and firmly align with what the majority want. Makes it hard to explain all the goofy tapdancing if they are really just appeasing the majority of voters in what they really desire.

70% of the population would disagree with you. There have been many polls and it is perfectly clear that MOST people did not want that abomination of a bill to pass. He sold the country out and should be held accountable for it. He and his kind are traitors.

So "most people" want to keep sending money to an unwinnable war in corrupt Ukraine and leave our Border wide open while subsidizing all immigrants and wars with TRILLIONS of inflationary printed money? Johnson was against this must weeks ago, until the 'three letter agencies' gave him an education. The same Agencies that cooked up the whole (Hillary Dossier) Muh Russia conspiracy and now hide behind their "sources and methods" bs rationale.

Neither Johnson or those obviously corrupt Agencies have any cred. What looks like bait and switch is not defensible, minus Johnson showing the information which he rest his 180 degree turn on.

An open Border and Trillions to warring Nations and immigrant subsidies to now end, is not a winning electoral strategy. MJ should have taken a stand and took it to the electorate, albeit a corrupted 'electorate' at that.

We are witnessing the demise of an honest political process, and the "engineered collapse"/Cloward Piven strategy of the Fascist Left. People like Johnson are enablers. He should have stayed out of politics, IMO; they play hardball and "whatever it takes" up there in DC. This ship has sailed.

Trump said that "he's a good guy", and that "we only have a majority by one", and that he's doing the best that he can do. While this is true, and it would be terrible to given the Speakership to Jeffries, it would define issues and pressure RINOs for the coming election. If elections (honest version) even matter anymore.

In the context of whipping votes or advancing bills on a party line, their representation/constituency isn't what we are talking about. 3 representatives can prevent the GOP from doing anything on the party line---which is what all legislation that everyone on this board wants to see would be.

That's just the reality of the situation given how tight the majority is. Many here will just say "fine, do absolutely nothing for 7 months," but I do not think that is a winning strategy in an election year.

That's not crazy at all!

It's not crazy for We the People to think that our government should fear us. The Founding Fathers had that in mind from day one.
