While I’m happy for Sandman, the broader public would be well served seeing the results of discovery served against media companies.
The media hides behind the 1st amendment to engage in behaviors no other major industry would consider attempting. They are the tobacco companies of the modern era.

Good for him, but I would take less money to have the NBCs of the world have to admit publicly what they did wrong and why they're paying a high school kid millions.

I hope he fired Lin Wood.

Would have been cool if Sandmann said he also accepted a strawman settlement from NBC on behalf of Rittenhouse.

Nick and Kyle Rittenhouse have found the ultimate money glitch.

Yeah, sure you would.

I would love to see him settle with most of the news organizations who weren't as vicious, get enough money for his great-great-great-great grandchildren, but then at the end tell the 2-3 worst offenders, "Nah, I think we'll see you guys in court".
Then bury them.
Then bury them.

Most of the board will say it's $75 million.
Boosie will say it's $75,000.
I have no idea, but would guess a couple million.

I mean to be fair a personal injury Jr Associate likely has no clue how these types of settlements are structured

Lawyers usually double the number of the estimated settlement value in personal injury cases. personal injury lawsuit statistics are availble but couldn't find hardly anything from a slander perspective.

Darn shame we won’t find out how much he got, although the house he buys will give a clue

His practice has to be raking in the tens of dollars. It’s why he spends so much time on here.

fricking this. I'm jealous. Who do I have to piss off to make them come at me, only to end up doing some unconstitutional shite I can sue for.
