it's hard to to have an intelligent conversation about the bible period. i grew up in a hard line Pentecostal family i had the bible shoved down my throat until i was 15yrs old. but go ahead by all means tell me all about the bible .

Apparently you had a hard time reading what was shoved down your throat for what, maybe 5 years? The Book of John says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh (Jesus) and dwelt among us. So who do you think the Bible is about?

It is one thing not to believe the Bible. It is another to tell others what the Bible says, when you do not believe the Bible.
We disagree on whether the Bible is true. What the Bible says on this issue is clear. You don’t have to believe it. And I get to believe it.

Pentecostal as in UPC . Pentecostal as in my grandfather was a minister who died at 80yrs old and never owned a TV because it was "worldly" . Why don't we just let people love who they want to love and if it's sin then when they die Jesus/God will do the judging .

Do you have any gay friends or family? i do and being Gay isn't a choice. If Christians want to think that all gays are going to hell they can do that . I don't see it that way. I may be wrong but the Christians might be wrong also .. LINK

yeah cause the only way to believe it is to pretend like the contradictions are not contradictions and the disgusting acts the bible god commits are righteous. you definitely cannot be thinking rationally to believe that.
