Another company to add to your boycott list......

They are getting lit up on Twitter:

Seventh Generation, a company specializing in household cleaning products, publicized its commitment to supporting efforts to defund the police, citing “deep racial inequity in our society” and the “continued killing of Black and Brown people at the hands of the police” in a Monday post.
Citing the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd, the company, which brands itself as a sustainable company with a clear commitment to the “climate movement,” asserted “Black & Brown lives continue to be lost at the hands of the police.” As a result, the company continued, communities must “divest” from police and “invest in systems that build community health and well-being,” although Seventh Generation did not immediately specify which systems, specifically, would “build community health.”
“We support defunding the police like we support keeping fossil fuels in the ground. It’s imperative we divest from systems of harm and invest in regenerative systems for all,” Seventh Generation continued, leaving no question on its stance, making a final commitment to support efforts to defund the police

We support defunding the police like we support keeping fossil fuels in the ground... except for the ones that make our plastic bottles and transport our material.

Uh-oh.

Conservatives’ bedrooms were neater and better lit—they had more laundry baskets, ironing boards, cleaning supplies, and sewing thread.

Wish people would start calling these companies on their hypocrisy. Organize a large mob of homeless people to riot in front of 7th Generation head quarters, and see how quickly the pearl clutchers dial 9-1-1.

Thank you for sharing this.
This is potentially a horrible decision by them. I feel like they had a huge conservative type of consumer base. People who absolutely appreciate the police.
Maybe I am wrong.

Easy to boycott since I've never heard of them.

Go rob their headquarters and see if they don't call for the police.
Posted on 4/20/21 at 2:23 pm to jatilen
Burn down their headquarters.
Who are they gonna call?
Who are they gonna call?

What a terrible logo
and an even worse message
Maybe we'll get lucky and their shite will get burglarized and burned to the ground. Then who will they call?

They are as diverse in their thoughts as they are in their complexions.

the virtue signaling in this one is strong.....

My fantasy is to kidnap each one of them and drop them in some choice neighborhoods. I'd like to see how many of these Vermonters get a fresh and diverse perspective they lacked beforehand.

Meanwhile, Minnesota is literally at this very second calling for more police and national guard.
