To its detriment, Hollywood has discovered in recent years that a four-word law now governs entertainment: go woke, go broke.
Now, the entire film industry would do well to learn a similar and more positive law: audiences crave Christian content.
The latest evidence for this craving appeared with last weekend’s release of Angel Studios’ “The King of Kings,” which, according to The Christian Post, shattered the record for a biblical animated film by taking in more than $19 million, thereby demonstrating that the audience eager for well-made Christian entertainment includes children.
Incredibly, according to industry pollster CinemaScore, “The King of Kings” earned a rare A+ rating from audiences.

I'm sure some Disney executive will come out soon and say something like, "We here at Disney are going to be backing away from creating content that is either socially or politically motivated."
FOR THE 15TH TIME (And they never stick to it. The colossal failure "Snow Woke" was their latest embarrassment).

I'm sure the movie is better than the crap Disney puts out, but 19 mil doesn't scream "great hunger".

This isn't some underfunded underdog movie release. There are some very big names in the cast like Uma Thurman, MARK HAMILL, Forest Whitaker, Pierce Brosnan, Oscar Issaac, Ben Kingsley.
Mark Hamill is one of the biggest screeching lefties there are.
Just looking at the list of names, half of them have been in Disney Star Wars content.

That idiot thought promoting it on bluesky would be a good idea. After getting shite on he's crawled back to X (after being vocal about leaving due to all of the turbo- Nazis saying fascist things like countries should have borders).
Maybe this will be a wake up call for him.

I was just having this conversation this morning after church about how many people are coming back to church, and seeking God in their lives. I have to imagine that everyone is seeing what is going on in this world, with the debauchery, and twisted thinking, Authoritarian Governments, and turning to the Lord, or recommitting their lives back to him.
Repentance actually means to change one’s mind. I believe that there are many who are doing that as we speak in relation to their creator, and Lord, Realizing that the path that this world is on is a very bad one, and the one that God offers us through his Son is significantly better than what the world offers them.

Did not realize Mark Hamill was in this. Strange to me how he could be in this yet believe what he does politically

I took my young grandchildren. It was well done and held their attention. Very impressive cast too.

That's interesting. Maybe some more stars will join the usual 3-4 that do fight for better content in films, keeping the social and political commentary out of their projects.

War on Christianity by the NWO, particularly the Dims in our country, has become obvious by most and has awoken our faith and fight.

So 3 million tickets, mostly church groupa who paid for others to see it, or less than 1 % of the populace was eager. Such hunger
