He's right. The gas by my house has gone down a good $0.60 and a few things that I buy every single week like Coffee, Creamer, etc has gone down tremendously.
My coffee for example has either been $9.99 or $11.99 for the past 2 years
it's now down to $6.99
There are still a lot of things that are near the same price or a little lower but there are some things that have gone down a considerable amount. In the next several weeks, I expect that a lot of those items will be substantially lower

I don’t see prices going down here. Gas is $2.99 around 50 cents more than it was 6 months ago. I went to Branson last June and we paid $2.39 a gallon. Coffee is still $5 more than it was a 2 years ago and a dozen eggs is $4.97. Milk is still $3.50 a gallon and sliced cheese $1.97 has never went up it’s still around the same price as it was 2 years ago.

same situation here. I wish gas and grocery prices were actually going down. I'm sure they are in some places, but certainly not in rural Indiana
