My personal experience with that tabloid was particularly illuminating. It involved a topic with which I am deeply familiar. I wrote the author and pointed out numerous serious flaws in her piece. She was such a hack about it. But a few months later I did notice that she wrote a counterpoint piece and followed up on some of my leads.

But the initial piece was so irresponsible that it should never have been published. So I always roll my eyes at BI now.

What frustrates me is that the left claims to be fighting for everyone, the party of peace and love, yet they are just as hypocritical as the right is. Even with that hypocritical attitude they maintain a holier than though approach.

This article is a great example. Rather than empathizing with the "opponent" the author argue that the behavior is acceptable because the righteous side is doing it.

Tribalism/identity politics is killing humanity. It strips us of overarching characteristics and boils you down to the most unique identifier. Less people to agree and socialize with = more confrontation.

Is it other posters here who are putting out the nastier stuff about Trump that his supporters are taking issue with, or is it perhaps more social media news personalities of some apparent national note that's drawing most of the ire?
