I don't think Trump supporters delight in cruelty, and I don't think most of them expect anything from the left. This is pure projection. Trump supporters aren't running around screaming about the end of the world, that's the left. The only thing that varies is the cause, global warming, climate change, Trump is a dictator, etc.
