Why Are A Disproportionate Percentage of Legal Professionals Degenerate Scumbags?

Between all of these treasonous bastards filing one bogus injunction after another and also actually hiding dangerous illegal gang members from being deported, inevitably this question needs to be asked. I mean, I used to think there was a difference between all of these ambulance chasers in Louisiana and "real" lawyers, but in far too many cases there really doesn't seem to be any discernable distinction.
Just look at this board. A couple of "good ones" sprinkled in with some real jokes. One would think that people who received an education regarding this country's laws, our Constitution, etc., would have the highest regard for respecting our laws and the legal process, but in far too many cases just the opposite seems to be the case.
Agree or disagree? Thoughts?

Lawyers love to redefine words to work in their favor, which is a trait of the globohomo. It's a perfect marriage.

Unfortunately in the legal profession the ratio of liberals to conservatives is terrible. Liberals make up 80%. I wonder how many conservative leaning people are converted into libtards while studying law at the many indoctrination clinics (Universities)? It is a major problem and it is poisoning our population.

Most lawyers I know are good people.

The nature of the job requires repurposing language, and other people’s findings on similar but not identical issues to suit self-interest. And your self interest is for sale every day.
THAT is breeding grounds for douche bags.

Far too many people become lawyers (and journalists) to "change the world" instead of practicing the law (or journalism).

This is it exactly. Build a thousand roach motels, get a million roaches.

They had to be in school for forever so they were indoctrinated.
Then there are those who enter that field because they come from a family in that field and they're indoctrinated by their family, who was indoctrinated by so much schooling.
Those working in the real world are seldom liberal scum because they're exposed to much more than just their own little bubble so they see that the world isn't all rainbows and unicorn farts.

One of our resident lawyers - you know who - chastised a poster for, and I quote "framing a conversation". I asked him what was it he did for a living?

sure but as a group they have become extremely dangerous. The entire profession manages the government’s monopoly of force and they use it for their financial benefit at the expense of everyone else.
Louisiana and insurance is example number one.

When Harvard law is still considered the end all be all, you get this kind of shiit becoming attorneys, and then judges.

You expect a group of professional liars to not be scumbags? The country would be so much better off if we purged them all

Watch The Devil's Advocate. Al Pacino explains all this.

Between the ambulance chasers and the Louisiana legislatue, many of whom are lawyers, insurance in Louisiana is horrendous. The premium on one of my vehicles just increased by about 35%. I'm work-from-home, no tickets, etc. It's a complete joke.

Louisiana is rather unique in its ability to suck. It's a reflection of the citizens unfortunately.

Yes. Based on a couple of examples here, I'd say there doesn't seem to be much difference between Harvard and LSU regarding what they are turning out these days.

I don’t see a great deal of difference between lawyers and the general population in terms of ethics or personal morality. Nor do I see much difference in terms of whether they lean left or right, though my sense is that on a national level, they may lean slightly to the left. However, you have to take into account that there are more lawyers in major metro areas, which themselves lean left. The examples you give regarding various filings on deportations, etc., suggest that you may be confusing the positions a lawyer takes on behalf of a client and the lawyer’s own personal beliefs. Also, at least some lawyers—myself included—value certain principles above the outcome in a specific case. For example, I am appalled at what the administration did in ignoring the court order with Garcia even though I generally applaud what the admin has done with clamping down on illegal immigration. Whether this makes me a degenerate scumbag is for others to judge, but my good faith reason for feeling this way is that I value due process and separation of powers (in this case, the Supreme Court has made its ruling and it should be followed rather than circumvented).
