Wouldn’t you agree that Gaetz at least exposed the holdouts?

Their true colors are showing.

How long have the Ken Buck types been able to do what they want instead of what their constituents want?

Goes to show us the contempt they have for us. Especially when they are held accountable.

Gaetz is a GOAT. There aren’t many of them.

Gaetz or not, it eventually had to come to this (and we are far from finished). Sending money to Ukraine to pay for Ukraine government pensions while we are hit hard with inflation here at home because of the profligate spending is pissing people off.

My problem is Gaetz should have already found a suitable replacement for Mcarthy. It’s always easier to complain than to fix the issue.

Or McCarthy should have never agreed in the first place to the stipulations

Yeah, there would be no Trump or Gaetz if the Uniparty in DC did not reject their voters like they do.

The minute McCarthy was ousted from the Speaker role Gaetz said he would support Scalise or Jordan for new speaker. We are in the process of getting a new speaker. I think the issue is, you just don't like the process, right?

Jordan is the suitable replacement. The holdouts are being exposed.

Gaetz was a genius if he planned it this way.

Who is to say he didn't? Folks lie, especially politicians. Folks change their mind or hide their intentions. We can't always wait for guarantees to take action. Had McCarthy not been deceitful, it would have never gone this route. Put the blame where it belongs. McCarthy lied to get his Speakership from jump!

Most of you guys in this thread are spot on though from the first several posts I read and I am glad for the solid group of Conservative posters we have here...Gumbo, loogaroo, momentoftruth, DeplorableinOhio, etc...stay strong in this guys!

Got nothing but respect for Gaetz right now. They poked the bear with the "imminent arrest" threat and now he's going HAM on them all.

I'm skeptical of all politicians (Gaetz included), but when establishment politicians are squirming like they are, it means they're starting to feel the pain. And they ALL need to feel the pain. I hope Gaetz keeps his foot on the gas pedal and burns it all down if he has to.

Single issue voting bills are a huge step to removing wasteful spending from congress. I'd put it a step under term limits for politicians.

Yes, i agree that toxic Matt Gaetz forced those Rebs with any spine to take a stand and do what’s best for the country.

Nah…the Senate is going to flip. I don’t know about the House and who’s vulnerable yet, but things aren’t going well for the Dems in any of their districts.

All of this makes me wonder what Republican voters have been doing for the past six years. The veil was lifted when Trump took office in 2017. Remember in 2010, Obamacare was passed. For 7 years, guys like Paul Ryan campaigned, begging for money and votes. "If you just give us more money and more votes we'll get rid of Obamacare."

In January 2017 the Republicans had the House, the Senate, and the White House. Trump turned to Ryan and the others and said, "let's see that plan you have for getting rid of Obamacare and let's get this done"....crickets.

That should have been enough to tell everyone that the GOP is a complete fraud.

It's all theater.
