Retro Arcade In Baton Rouge

I’ve heard a retro-arcade is opening on Government St in the near future. Does anyone know of any other locations in Baton Rouge with “old” (like 1980s old) arcade games?

its a thing now; we have 2 or 3 here in nashville (including some that have 100s of pinball machines)
they usually charge a single admission to play anything and may require you buying a couple drinks.

BOOMBOX Frozen Pops & Ice Cream on Highland near LSU has a couple free games from the 80's and is an 80's themed store. The kids love it.

Search arcade on google but there are a couple places with classics or cabinets with a bundle of classics. Anything specific you looking to play?

I have looked but didn’t find any that had any number of the games I was interested in: Zaxxon, Donkey Kong, Track and Field, etc.
Just want to relive my youth at the Showbiz Pizza / Chuck E Cheese, I guess.

This was the cartoon serial story game right?
I think it was the first of its kind.

I wouldn't open on govt st if they gave me the fricking building. The only way this works is if they charge a cover to even get in.
I'd take the family but I'm not dealing with teenagers using it as a hangout.

I remember reading that they'd charge a cover. I assume they want to be like Barcadia, but without all the d-bags

Ya there's one in Chicago I got pretty liquored up at a couple years ago.
Fun how you can just move around playing everything.

Pay me $100 and maybe I can dig out my Ultracade with Dragon’s Lair 1, 2, and Space Ace on it.
