Going there, as a couple, from Saturday to Monday. Staying at The Roost. Could only get Lady May for dinner, not brunch. Can’t get reservation at Vestige. Any recs for breakfast/brunch?
What to do while there? Walk around, eat, drink? Is the beach there worth it? Could do Ship Island, but it’s 1 1/2 hours each way, including ferry. Any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

If you get there before noon on Saturday there is a great farmers market that takes place in old downtown. It’s nice to hang around there and walk around to all of the shops.
The beach isn’t very nice, but if you want to sit out on the sand for a little while and enjoy the sun, it’s not a horrible option.

You have to go to Blue Dog Bistro for breakfast. My wife and I go there anytime we are close to Ocean Springs.

Ship Island a waste of a day. It's an island with water around it.

Walk over to Hartz Chicken for the buffet. Roll back to the Roost.

Ship is probably a waste.
Horn Island after church on Sunday probably isn't if you want an authentic experience.

Ship island is not a bad thing to do. Several boats over and back. You can tour the fort, swim and rent a beach chair and umbrella. The water was clear out that far. I could see my feet in chest deep water.

Try Evergreen for brunch. Or Grab a coffee at Bright Eyed, then walk down to Tato Nut for a donut. Lil’ Market is also right there if you want to grab a bagel. District Coffee has good coffee and breakfast sandwiches as well

Bar hop, day drink and watch the masters. Should be nice weather. Lady May & Glory Bound have nice outdoor setups.

White Pillars across the bridge is a great brunch spot. They have the best selection of raw oysters on the coast.

Walter Anderson Museum and Shearwater Pottery provide a special art experience in Ocean Springs.

How was this trip? We're going in May and likely staying at the same place.

Ocean Springs is our lunch stop anytime we take I-10 east. Maison de Lu is where we eat. The Walter Anderson Museum is a short walk down the street. The Anderson family pottery, Shearwater is a short drive. Sometimes the pottery has something you must have, other times not.
I spent one night at the Gulf Hills Resort just north of Ocean Springs. It's unique in that it's hilly and has a nice golf course... low key place.
You might also check out adjacent Biloxi and Gulfport. Southern Ms has a marine lab at Ocean Springs which may have some public exhibits. It did before Covid.
A less-advertised aspect of the Ocean Springs medical community is the unusual abundance of pulmonologists. The area is something of a center for "B readers" due to the shipyard workers suing for asbestosis in a litigant-friendly state.
Anybody visiting the MS Gulf Coast should read John Grisham's novel "The Boys from Biloxi" .

It exceeded my expectations.
The Roost was very nice. Nice room, balcony, pool. A lot of cozy sitting areas, and a cool bar with a speakeasy room.
Ate breakfast at Lady May and Lazy Oak. Highly recommend both.
Supper at Maison de Lu and Lady May. Both great. Get the ham and melted cheese sandwich at Lady May.
Bars: Mckinney’s Irish Pub-they have Guinness, Smittys, Harp, and one other on tap that I can’t remember the name, which sucks, since we liked it best.
The Office Bar and Lounge: watched the end of the Masters; great atmosphere; seemed to be a locals place.
We rented a golf cart for 24 hours. Really only needed 2-3 hours to see pretty much everything. Easy to walk around town otherwise.
Really liked this place; will go back.

You'd be much better off driving to Pensacola.
