Heading to the beach in a few weeks. Considering leaving a day early and to let the kids do something fun on the way down there. Would it be worth it to hit either of these places for 1 night? I'm assuming Margaritaville has more to do, but the Oasis probably isn't as crowded.

I am sure the kids would enjoy it but biloxi margaritaville is legit the trashiest place I have ever been

Margaritaville is fun for kids. Especially now that the paradise pier is opened. It’s attached to Margaritaville so you could do the rides, games inside, and water park.

I am often turned off by rough clientele, but I have never experienced this at Margaritaville. My kids ask to go often and it is always a good time and safe environment

the people. from what I remember the facility was nice.

this was back around covid so maybe more people were trying to get out than normal.

Have taken our granddaughter on a few occasions to Margaritaville. She has always had a blast. Always felt safe.

You don't have to stay at Margaritaville to visit Paradise Pier, but do have to be a guest to visit the water park.

The people make Margaritaville terribly trashy. When we went to the Oasis, it was very nice and clean. Clientele was also very respectful and courteous to those around them. Take that FWIW

We took the kids a few times to Margaritaville for their game room. One of the better ones we’ve been to. Just be prepared to shell out the $$$.
I would think a Saturday night would be pretty trashy, but we went during the day on weekdays and it was fine.

We’d be there on a Monday… just trying to figure out if it’d be worth it to get there early afternoon Monday and roll out by lunch the next day

Oasis by a mile. We stayed two nights at Margaritaville last summer for a baseball tournament and it was rough. The property was fine but the clientele not so much.

The Oasis is actually pretty well run and a beautiful property.

we were at margaritaville a few weeks back. wow has it gotten trashier as far as "guests". doubt we ever return. elevators way too damn slow. i much prefer the rooms at golden nugget.

kids had fun but id rather stay at golden nugget walk across to use the game room/arcade and pier park. just forget the water park there. that is where most the trash hangs out anyway. place has really went down client wise.

Pretty sure I have lung cancer just from walking through the front doors to my hotel room. That place needs some serious ventilation upgrades.

If Margaritaville is trashy compared to the nugget then I wouldn’t step foot in the margarita.

Like some others have said…Margaritaville clientele has gotten trashier and trashier every time we have been (around 8 times)

We all love the arcade but I’ll never stay there again. The last time we stayed it seemed we were the only people on that floor that were not affiliated with a reunion…whole floor reeked of the devils lettuce, they would keep their doors propped open all day and kids would run from room to room with zero supervision LATE into the night

It sucked

the hotel itself is fine. restaurants, gameroom/arcade bar inside and out, pool, I i just do not like the beds, or slow arse elevators there. one time water was leaking through a light fixture in the bathroom. i much prefer GN or beau rivage. but the deal breaker at margaritaville is the riff raff now.
