I thought Free Bird was becoming the USA fight song. Heard it a lot in the olympics and World baseball classic.

And not a single player singing…

I mean, I like the song. An American classic. West Virginia plays it in the stadium before every home football game. Just seems like we'd "bond" over some other song. Like “Seven Nation Army” or “Sweet Caroline”. A little "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. "Don’t Stop Believin" by Journey. Even Springsteen's "Born In The USA".

Maybe in my next life I will care about the communist, third world sport of soccer. But not today.
