This season was a failure
The first 5 series of conference play were a failure, which ultimately put us in the position we were in tonight, having to beat the #4 team, on the road, twice. And yet we were 1-2 plays away from doing just that. But to answer your question, hosting...
We easily hit 10-15 missiles right at or in front of guys and they snared every single one. Their defense was borderline flawless this weekend and its the main reason why they're moving on. ...
All kidding aside, looking back, had we been a #3 seed in a 10-16 regional we're probably preparing for a Super Regional right now. ...

Not having Little this weekend didn't help either....
Tonight was very Deja vu of our first 15 SEC games. Score early, then bats go dead silent the rest of the game and ultimately lose a close one. ...

Pretty big rebuild Good news is Jay has an extra 3 weeks to hit the portal compared to last year....
Defense was the difference this weekend I don't know how you can argue otherwise...

Once again, a missile right at someone. Crazy...
Sorry, but they definitely have the pitching advantage tomorrow....

Contrast to yesterday where they scored 3 runs each on the only 2 times they really threatened....
Have we jumped on a pitcher in the 1st all year
Yes Jumping on pitchers early was one of the few things we did well early on this year, only for the bats to disappear in the later innings. The past 3 games, it's been the opposite....
And their defenders made those plays. We, on the other hand, did not and both of our misplays led directly to big innings. That was the difference yesterday....
In Omaha last year. when we lost to wake forest, lots of pussies crying. We will win this regional
Last year we saw an extremely shaky pitching staff pitch out of their minds to win those 3 games, and we had Skenes. The bats HAVE to wake up. The past 27 innings have been abysma...
Like we always do
3 times isn't always Your baseball program always finishes the season without a national title. See the difference?...
That has to sting for a LSU baseball fan
Not really Its always annoying to lose to the lesser programs when they're having an uncharacteristic great year, but we'll be fine. You will limp into Omaha and lose, like you normally do....
Anyone keeping track of the number of runners we've stranded the past 3 games?...
We've threatened nearly every inning and came up empty from either BS calls or balls crushed right at guys. Their first threat of the game from a cheap hit and ball off a glove and THAT happens. Just unreal...
