Louisiana is one of the richest states for natural resources and has been producing oil and gas since the early 20th century
I heard Jordan Peterson talking about resource rich areas. He insists it always ends up bad for them. They get taken over and stripped of resources by foreig...
I am about to retire and wonder if anyone here has crossed over that beautiful bridge. If so, what does your portfolio look like? Annuities? (Not a personal fan of annuities) What is the expected rate of return on investments? Looking to see what 1.2 million in 401K will yield....

I built in 2022. 2900 sft living with a 3.5 ton and a 3.0 ton Lennox systems. The cost was $14,500.00 for all with ducts. My AC bills rarely exceed $125.00. The units aren't loud but I have heard quieter. I am a fan of Lennox so far. I have had Carrier and really liked it. I will never ever,...
I had a really good boss once that used to ask me a simple question when I wanted to throw down on something or someone.... "....do you really want to risk dying on that hill?" My advice is worth the price you paid for it. Good luck. ...
Scholarship limits killed Barry Switzer as HC. He couldn't stockpile tons of talent with 200 scholarships. Transfer portal and NIL killed Saban. He can't win recruits with process and rings alone. He didn't like re-recruiting the same players over and over again. ...
Coastal living is getting more difficult to justify....
Three years ago I really wanted to live on or near the beach or on a lake. The logistics of lake living was not desirable. Coastal living was too expensive due to housing, insurance and taxes. I live in the backwoods of Br...

Unless we soil ourselves, we are getting in. We have a favorable finish to the schedule. We dont have to win them all but we do need to win the ones we should win. No more sweeps allowed. That would be soiling ourselves....

Clenpiq for the win. 2 8 Oz bottles with a water chaser. 1 16 hours out and the other 8 hours out. Easiest prep I ever did. I was like a jagger shot. Down the hatch and over quickly. ...
I remember the first time I built my forever home 3 years ago
I built my first two years ago.... I love my home and have no plans to leave. But I now see a path in other directions if the situation is right. I think most of us remain dreamers and risk takers throughout life. It...
I think he missed a golden opportunity to go the opposite direction. "Yes we are in the market to buy players for a year or two. We are flush with cash and looking to spend." ...
Well that is 8 years for me. 8 more years than I ever thought I would get. In 2035, when they stop the program, I will be reporting a large uninsured theft loss as a tax deduction. ...
