re: Did the SEC home office ever make a statement?
Posted by ncdawg on 1/2/24 at 5:57 pm
I agree with you 100% but how are these situations handled? Do they just pretend it didn’t happen? Do they discuss it with the coach privately? It just seems that if you sweep it under the rug without addressing it, then it is likely to happen again. ...
Did the SEC home office ever make a statement?
Posted by ncdawg on 1/2/24 at 5:50 pm
About the non catch. I know that there was no way to change it after the game, but did they ever actually address the call. I would take an official apology in lieu of a shot at the national title....
re: Roster Management Question…

Thanks for the answer! I think it’s a genius way to skirt the 85 limit now. If they get the same experience, money and education, the only thing that could keep a team with 100 scholarship quality players would be a lack of playing time?...

So in that program, someone else foots the bill or they pay their own way?...
Roster Management Question…
Posted by ncdawg on 12/23/23 at 11:42 am
If a player is receiving big NIL money, theoretically, could they pay their own way and not count against the 85 scholarship limit? What’s to keep boosters from “sponsoring” a player?...
re: What could Georgia have done differently??

Asked for a challenge on the 4th and 4 “catch” of Bond. The play should have been reviewed, but Kirby holding on to that timeout likely cost Georgia an SEC Championship and a shot at a 3rd national title. ...

I’m not upset about the loss. It had to come at some point. I hate the way we lost: Stupid turnover and horrific officiating. ...

re: New cars, once part of the American dream, now out of reach for many
Posted by ncdawg on 5/9/23 at 5:38 am
I’ve ended up driving older cars for years. I drive a 1988 Bronco and my wife has a 2003 Expedition with 408,000 miles on it. Both run and look like new. We try to keep a spare vehicle in case something breaks. With a good set of tools, YouTube and a little patience you would be surprised how much...
