I would imagine, guidry being at LSU and Wes being at LSU...it will be LSU but we shall see. Ole Miss has a good relationship with Barbe from Bianco's time at McNeese.
Only other place i could see him going would possibly be Vandy.
hoping it is one for the good guys, but like i said....not sure it matters much.

He needs a velo uptick to be a sure fire draft pick like you’re saying. He looks super projectible so not saying it won’t happen, but I see summer readings t93 & he makes 17 this month.
Reminds me a lot of Jaden hill but he doesn’t quite have that twitch or leg power yet.

I guess tomorrow is early signing day, or at least the start of the early period. We should see guys tweeting out pictures from their signing ceremonies.

well to be fair he ran it up to 95 in the spring. 93-95 going into junior year put you on projected path of 95-97 with a floor around 92-93 if he continues to develop, which i have no doubt he will as he is supposedly a hard worker.
he does need more lower body development, but to be hitting the numbers he does and be as thin as he is....tons of momentum potential left when he gets to that magic 2.75-3.0 bodyweight to height ratio especially if he can get the reverse lunge up around 2x bodyweight.
but i said he is sure fire pick because as of now he has been ranked in the top 10 of pretty much every list that has come out that i have seen. he is currently #7 on PG.

I fully disagree. It matters. It matters a lot because things change often regarding draft status and injuries happen. It matters that in case something happens, he’s a Tiger and not an Aggie. I don’t care if he’s slotted to be the best prospect since Bryce Harper. If there’s a 0.1% chance for him to be a Tiger, it matters.

i agree on that, i just meant there is slim chance he makes it to campus unfortunately.

I believe he was on campus unofficially this past weekend. His dad is the softball coach at Belhaven in Mississippi. They scrimmaged LSU this weekend.

If we do end up landing commitments from Griffin and Victorian. We would have 4 of the top 10 players in the country committed and 3 of the top 5.

The Team USA 18U team is playing exhibition games in Airzona right now. Yesterday they played Hamilton HS. Team USA beat Hamilton 8-3. LSU had Derek Curiel starting in CF and Danny Arambula starting at 3B for Team USA. Matthew Champion, Vaughn Neckar, and Stunner Gonzalez all pitched for Team USA. Ryan Kucherak started at SS for Hamilton.
It's kind of crazy that a regular HS team kept it that close with Team USA. It's a little crazier when you consider they were missing Roch Cholowsky, a projected 1st rounder.

2023 LHP name to monitor is Wes Mendes from Tampa Jesuit. Listed as a Vandy commit on the recruiting sites. Not sure if that's still the case. He doesn't have any Vandy references on his Twitter and I'm pretty sure he used to.
