Interesting.

Which brings the need to ask the next question ... who would play The Judge ... Holden?

I've literally asked this question 100 or more times in 100 different settings from FTF to forums and it has amazed me how many times Matthew McConaughey's name has immediately been first on the list.

A lot of times it's been preceeded with something like "well, since (Jack) Nicholson is too old, it would have-to-be ..."

ETA: Bonus Question .... is Judge Holden human?

I think Woody Harrelson would be better. He has the experience playing a psycho on Natural Born Killers, and could pull off the hairless look more naturally than McConaughey. Would need to find him some stilts though

Have a buddy who posted on FB (take that for what it's worth) that there are rumors that Derek Mears is up for it.

He's seven feet tall and 300 lbs so that narrows it down some if they're being true to the book.

McCarthy makes him almost a mythical or supernatural figure but there was a real Judge Holden in the source material the book is based on.
