So I changed the router on my computer and my son got permanently banned from Fortnite. The game says I'm using a VPN to access the game. I don't have a VPN and he's not running any cheat codes on this game or any others. I've contacted customer service but they won't tell me anything and won't remove the ban. Any thoughts?

In the settings, there's a way to change the region you're playing in

Maybe it's accidentally set to somewhere across the world and they're picking that up?

Change it closer to your location and see if that works. If it does, it'll help with ping too.

I was banned from it for about 5 years for an offensive psn name. Went through the customer service process about once a year attempting to get it back while I played on an alt account in the meantime. Finally got a level headed employee to agree to reactivate
it.

I was determined to get all those OG skins back lol.
