You can get uchi real early and it’s strong af. You could also get bloodhound fang early. Both are great bleeding weapons.
If you go a bleed focused route it’s much better to put stats in arcane and infuse the weapon with bleed. At that point just pump dex for the weapon requirements

Bump as we are officially in DLC month. I’m doing my third playthrough and just got to the Haligtree Canopy. Feel free to critique my current build:

Dual Katanas - Rivers of Blood and Uchigatana
Medium Load: Banished Knight Helm, Veterans Armor, Bull Goat gauntlets and Banished Knight Greaves

I had a similar build with much less dex and higher arcane. Uchi with occult infusion. Malenia went down real quick with that build.

I just finished a complete playthrough prepping my DLC character. Faith build with good strength. I was going in deep on everything by endgame. Beat Malenia on the 3rd attempt.

I’m starting my warm up next week. Sticking with my Reaper unless I go faith/strength lightning. I’ve done so many runs of the base with different builds. Faith/strength claps.
