They aren’t college kids, which is part of the problem.

My brother lives in South Beach. He will be delighted. He says the criminal element is prominent during spring break there.

I can see them going to Atlanta instead, MAYBE Biloxi or something.

Pensacola Beach is always cold, rainy, alcohol sales are banned and there is nothing there but churches and old people. The whole island smells like Polydent and Bengay.

Seriously, they should stay away from there.

Never saw these problems at spring break years ago. What changed?

My kid and several groups of seniors from this area are going to Pensacola Beach for spring break. I guess it’s the spot for these Catholic high school kids, but it sounds like things are so strict that I don’t understand what fun they will have.
Daughter in college and they will be at Panama City Beach and it still seems like they can have a little fun based on their trip last year

I can't fathom how so many young people of colour could afford to spring break in Miami during prime season. They must fit 10 per room or something like cock a roaches.

Orange Beach and Gulf Shores has no alcohol on the beaches until the end of April. Beach by The Pass bridge is closed also. Last year every jail in Baldwin Co was fun during spring break, they are not playing around here.

Interesting that a specific looking group of people have had spring breaks shut down in several locations

What was the media calling these folks in 2021? Revelers? I supposed they reveled too hard.

My God all those MAGA Nazis conspiring in a one place, it must have been another insurrection. Won't that horrible Trump ever stop attacking the Constitution?

This is what I was referring to. I suppose its only on public beaches? But I mean you turn a couple people away and they spread the word and won't want to come back.

I just don't really understand allowing a certain demographic or age group to control everyone else. Increase the police presence (which btw is well paid for by tourist taxes) and then allow the adults with their families on vacation to live by the regular rules.

They let it get out of hand by doing very little, and then are now over policing.

PCB has been cracking down for quite awhile after the MTV Spring Break hey days. There is a local "COPS" show called "Blue Lights" that would cover PCB during spring break. Was always an entertaining watch.

Girls Gone Wild was shot in PCB in the early 2000s which made it the hot spot for spring breakers to go to. Then hurricane Michael destroyed Panama City and all of the spring breakers started going to Pensacola/Destin instead.

This will do absolutely nothing to stop tourists from coming. The purpose of it is to prevent overcrowding in small areas

That will likely change slowly after 2026,
