1 and 2 are the only ones I’ve ever used. Haven’t played video games since I was like 10

Same for me. My parents had an Intellivision. I never had a NES or Snes but I had a Sega Master System, a Genesis, a Sega CD, a 32x then my first Nintendo was the 64. Then I got a Ps2 and A Xbox 360 and haven't hit any console since.

I remember with Intellivision each game had a card that went over the number pad. The controller sucks by modern standards.

Late 70s for me

Fortunately for me growing up I had a grandfather that worked on arcade games pool tables and juke boxes for most of the area so we always had the big game consoles pinball machines pool tables & Rockola juke boxes slap full of records in our house

Saturday night steak night was always rocking

Started with 2 in 1988 now using 20. Amazing the difference in graphics and gameplay.

That basically parallels how I got my first computer (Vic 20) when I was 3. My grandpa was an engineer at IBM which is how we ended up in Palo Alto, and I grew up surrounded by them. He was trying to teach me how to use them before I could even read. It never really took though. I didn't end up buying my first computer as an adult until I was 26.
