It takes a lot for me to get into Zone 5
Yesterday was a brutal cardio workout and I peaked at 171
Sustained 150 for 20 minutes though...

I just like to come in these threads when people brag about their low 40s
My cause de jour is people so often mix up true resting HR with sitting at a desk or in a chair at home. The first has just become easy to measure for the average weekend warrior with all the new wearable tech.
I don't have access to my data at work but I have a cheap cuff I use when I am tracking BP. My systolic is a little high but not unusual mid-day but my HR is pretty normal for me this TOD:

I’ve been running my easy runs starting at about 140ish. Then after a couple of miles i creep up through the 150s and usually try and cap it at like 160. Kinda sucks

"easy" runs are supposed to stay in Zone 3

Getting to 180 is solid. Not many people can get to that
Feels like I'm going to die when it's that high.
Just checked the Whoop from Monday and it said I peaked at 188 during a workout.

Looking at the last week it ranged from 55-61.
ETA: Looked at workout details from last week
Friday- BPM was 140-165 for 22 minutes. Avg. was 149 during that time.

I can still get into the mid-180s but any effort over 174-175 and my recovery time goes to shite. Last week I rode for 1:45 with an average of 167 BPM and felt stressed by OK, if I had run past 180 for 45-60 seconds I would have destroyed the rest of my ride. I can still ride with the young guns at a steady race pace but holding on to an attack or bridging a gap usually means my legs are gone for the rest of the ride or race. Father time has just stolen my recovery ability.

I got mine up to like 140 once after a 36 hour alcohol and cocaine binge with no sleep

Per the whoop weekly average I’m at 41 RHR this week.
Got up to 178 on some assault bike intervals today.
