Ty Floyd and Grant Taylor are viable options to start next year and have the ability to be very very good.
I think way too many people are totally wrapped up in the portal arms and forgetting that we do have some very high potential arms already on the roster.
Hurd Floyd Little
Is a great weekend rotation.
If little doesn’t pan out then Taylor is definitely capable of winning some Sunday games and with a little improvement can be an absolute weapon on Sunday.
That being said I want this staff to stack all of the elite arms they can but I don’t know that it’s as crucial as it was the day after the Hattiesburg regional

Freshman Kennedy might get a shot at starting

I’d say Kennedy has a very good shot to be in the weekend rotation. Herring and Kennedy both are really good pitchers, not just guys with good arms

Floyd is a Friday night guy next year.

I’m going to need to see some fall ball before I stretch that far

Hurd is your Friday night guy

Nah if he improves he might be your Sat starter. Hurd if healthy is a top 10!first round pitcher. He is your true ace.

Has to be healthy to be anything. That’s the biggest question. If healthy, then you are correct.

As good of a poster as DRock is, one thing I learned not to listen to is his thoughts on pitchers. He may still be calling for Fontenot to start. Lol

Nap, is there anything new with transfers?
Posted on 7/4/22 at 9:54 pm to ProjectP2294
I’m still hearing only 2 arms they are after

Skenes and Waldrep?
Or Williams?
