Just watched… Really disappointed. Figured with Jake G the movie would’ve been a nice gem. Everything was terrible, from the characters to the personalities to the cartoonist looking generated fight scenes. Point Break 2 was better than this remake. Zero nostalgic throwbacks to the original ...

Well, I read somewhere that the best thing to do is that if you are thinking about watching the remake, watch the first one, first.

The CGI fight scenes were so bad in the new one, but movie was fine enough for some mindless entertainment on a late Saturday night. I wasn't expecting much out of it.

I didn’t hate this like most.
The first one was a cult classic because so unintentionally over the top of made up for how bad of a movie it was.
This one purposefully was over the top. I’ve sat through way worse.
My main complaint is that the Dr Lady was annoying.

The one fricking line they kept from the original was "Nobody ever wins a fight". Spoken by a character who's back story was that he's a former MMA fighter. A guy whose whole job was to win fights.
